About the Role
• Assist with bridge rehabilitation and new design projects from concept to construction. • Perform inspections of existing bridges and structures. • Prepare engineering calculations, models, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and procurement documents. • Provide technical engineering services during construction, reviewing contractor submissions and conducting site inspections. • Maintain an excellent academic record.

Parsons’ Ottawa office is hiring a Bridge/Structural Engineering Intern to support its expanding business, collaborating with teams nationwide and across North America. The internship offers hands‑on experience in bridge inspection, design, analysis, and construction inspection, providing a platform to master and broaden engineering knowledge while advancing a professional career. • Enrolled in a civil/structural engineering program with a focus on structural engineering. • Bring prior co‑op or internship experience (preferred). • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills. • Possess strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and collaborative abilities. • Proficient in MS Office and 3D structural design/analysis software.
