About the Role

The Senior Planner will ensure programme compliance with company standards, provide full‑life‑cycle planning support, review specifications, develop tender and construction programmes, and act as a liaison with stakeholders while identifying opportunities to improve project schedules. • Ensure programme compliance with Morrison Construction standards. • Create NEC‑compliant programmes and manage contract administration. • Deliver full‑life‑cycle planning support for tenders, pre‑construction and live projects. • Review documents, specifications and scopes to identify contract requirements and constraints. • Produce detailed tender programmes, method statements and logistics proposals. • Develop outline plans and methodologies during the tender stage. • Conduct site visits to assess conditions for tender programmes and method statements. • Represent the company at tender and contract interviews, presentations and meetings. • Create fully integrated design, procurement and construction stage contract programmes, fully resourced and value‑loaded. • Identify alternative methodologies to improve project completion dates. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish optimal, compliant programmes. • Monitor progress on pre‑construction and live projects, forecast delays and recommend mitigation measures. • Develop construction, completion and mitigation programmes while maintaining contract integrity. • Support and develop junior team members as required.

What You Bring

Morrison Construction is seeking a Senior Planner for its Glasgow office. This full‑time permanent role involves supporting multiple tender, pre‑construction and live projects across the Central Belt, requiring solid construction knowledge and strong familiarity with NEC and JCT contracts. The ideal candidate possesses a strong working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts, experience with 3D/4D visualisation, preferably two‑stage tendering, and proficiency in Asta PowerProject, Microsoft Project and MS Office.
