About the Role

Inspectors perform quality‑control observations on highway, roadway and bridge construction, including site work, traffic protection, drainage, earthwork, paving, concrete, reinforcement steel placement, utility relocation, coordination and safety. They communicate clearly with clients, contractors and residents, read contract documents and construction plans, and monitor construction sequencing, cost, schedule and performance. They also ensure proper document control, quality‑assurance documentation and maintain comprehensive project records. • Perform quality‑control observations on highway, roadway and bridge construction activities. • Read and interpret contract documents and construction plans. • Monitor construction sequencing, cost, schedule and performance decisions. • Ensure proper document control, quality‑assurance documentation, and maintain project records. • Participate in Women’s Organization and philanthropic opportunities.

What You Bring

Candidates must have either an associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology with at least three years of inspection, construction management or quality‑assurance experience, or a high‑school diploma with five years of comparable experience. A valid driver’s license is required, and certifications such as NICET, ACI, SAT or TCC are preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills, good time management, attention to detail and proficiency in English are also required. • Communicate clearly with clients, contractors and local residents. • Hold an associate/bachelor’s degree in engineering technology (3+ yr experience) or high‑school diploma (5+ yr experience) in construction inspection/management. • Maintain a valid driver’s license. • Possess NICET, ACI, SAT, or TCC certification (preferred). • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong time‑management and attention to detail. • Demonstrate English reading, writing and communication skills for job tasks.
