About the Role
The role involves assisting other craft workers with physical labor on construction sites while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment that supports overall project goals. The employee will be expected to help with various tasks as needed and may be assigned additional duties. • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and complete required safety documentation. • Signal equipment operators to align, move, and adjust machinery for loading and unloading. • Level earth to fine‑grade specifications using hand tools. • Mix concrete or grout with a portable mixer. • Position, join, and connect pumps, motors, and other mechanical parts. • Apply paints, bituminous compounds, or other protective coatings to surfaces. • Spray water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco to clean, coat, or seal surfaces. • Apply caulking by hand or with a caulking gun to seal crevices. • Grind, sand, or polish concrete and steel using abrasive tools. • Perform hand‑tool tasks such as torqueing bolts, assembling metal parts, vibrating concrete, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, jackhammering, and demolition. • Provide site assistance as needed and maintain assigned tools. • Perform general physical labor on construction sites. • Travel to different jobsites on short notice when required. • Follow safety procedures and contribute to zero‑injury goals. • Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure documents. • Perform basic arithmetic with units, weight, and volume measurements. • Execute written or oral instructions with common‑sense judgment. • Work to precise accuracy and adhere to established procedures.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and have six to twelve months of construction experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. They should be capable of following safety protocols, interpreting technical documents, performing basic math with units and measurements, understanding force, pressure, and torque, and executing instructions accurately.
