About the Role

The New Home Consultant guides prospective buyers through every stage of the home‑purchase journey, from the first contact to closing and beyond. This position relies on proactive sales techniques, strong relationship management, and deep knowledge of the local housing market. Success is measured by the ability to generate, process, and close sales while providing a seamless experience for customers. Consultants maintain the Welcome Home Center and model homes, ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues, and travel throughout the community to prospect leads and support marketing events. They collaborate with internal teams to coordinate transactions and enhance customer satisfaction. Daily activity is tracked using company‑designated tools to monitor traffic and sales performance. • Engage visitors, establish relationships, and assess home‑buying needs using Lennar’s selling philosophy. • Generate, process, and close sales from self‑generated, referral, and Realtor/Co‑Broker leads following the 10‑5‑2‑1 approach. • Provide consistent follow‑through from initial contact through closing and post‑closing, maintaining accurate communication records. • Maintain the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes; report and resolve maintenance issues promptly. • Travel within the local community to prospect leads, attend promotions, and support neighborhood marketing initiatives. • Stay informed on competitive market trends, community details, product offerings, and customer demographics. • Use company tracking tools to monitor daily customer traffic and sales activity. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

Regular, in‑person attendance at job sites and offices during standard work hours is required, and the role may involve working more than eight hours in a construction trailer, operating a vehicle, climbing ladders, and lifting equipment over 50 pounds. Physical dexterity for using a computer keyboard and calculator is also needed. • High school diploma required; college degree and real estate license preferred. • 1–3 years experience in new‑home sales, real estate, or a related field. • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales. • Strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking systems. • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and capable of working independently.
