About the Role

Drivers safely operate heavy‑duty trucks on transfer routes, adhering to WM safety policies, OSHA, DOT, and all legal requirements. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, reporting unsafe conditions, participating in training, collaborating on route efficiency, and ensuring each site is left clean after service. • Operate vehicle in compliance with WM Safety, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable laws. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report. • Report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, and service interruptions promptly. • Attend all required training programs, briefings, and meetings. • Work with the Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and adopt best practices. • Dump receptacles, clean the site, and leave it free of debris. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day documentation, and assist fellow drivers as needed.

What You Bring

Applicants must have at least one year of CDL or equivalent military driving experience within the past seven years, be 18 or older, and possess a Class A or B CDL with an air‑brake endorsement. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and the role involves various physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and reaching. • Minimum 1 year of CDL operation or equivalent military driving experience (within 7 years). • Hold a Class A or B CDL with an air‑brake endorsement; be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work. • Preferred: High school diploma or GED. • Must obtain or possess a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel.
