About the Role
The Defence and Security Division of Mott MacDonald Australia is looking for Project Managers to lead multidisciplinary design projects under the Estate Works Program (EWP) and Project Delivery Services contract. Based in Canberra, the role involves managing new and existing projects while enhancing project‑management processes to drive delivery excellence and efficiency. • Deliver EWP projects on schedule, within budget and to high quality standards in a Defence environment. • Foster collaboration across internal project teams and industry delivery partners. • Proactively manage issues, drive decision‑making and lead resolution pathways. • Evaluate and mitigate risks for Defence clients. • Manage and support technical and quality‑assurance activities for design and safety analysis of Defence infrastructure. • Mentor staff developing knowledge in major infrastructure delivery. • Travel overnight to project locations as required. • Lead project delivery in building services, infrastructure, refurbishment, civil or maritime, preferably with Defence experience. • Join employee resource groups such as the Inclusive Network for Women and CSR initiatives.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates have experience leading delivery in building services, infrastructure, refurbishment, civil or maritime sectors, with Defence experience preferred, and hold relevant tertiary qualifications in project management or engineering.
