Deputy General Manager - EMCS Projects

About the Role

The position requires overseeing planning, engineering, execution, and handover of projects, maintaining engineering documents such as system architecture, design specifications, IO lists, BOMs, drawings, calculations, and FAT/SAT reports, and aligning customer requirements with tender specifications while controlling budgets and profitability. The incumbent will serve as primary customer interface, obtain design approvals, resolve queries promptly, and coordinate with internal teams (LV/MV Design, Product Management, Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality, Service) and external stakeholders (EPCs, vendors, end customers). The role includes mentoring junior engineers, providing regular progress reports and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, supporting audits, and traveling 10–20 % for meetings, FAT, site coordination, and commissioning. • Lead planning, engineering, execution, monitoring, and handover of EMCS/SAS/E‑SCADA/CRP projects. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking timelines, milestones, deliverables, and risks. • Prepare and control engineering documents (system architecture, design specs, IO lists, BOMs, drawings, calculations, FAT/SAT reports). • Align customer requirements and tender specifications while maintaining budget control and profitability. • Act as primary technical interface for customers, obtain design approvals, and resolve queries promptly. • Coordinate with internal teams (LV/MV design, product management, contracts, supply chain, quality, service) and external stakeholders (EPCs, vendors, end customers). • Ensure network architecture, cybersecurity (IEC 62443/62351), IED parameterization, and use diagnostic tools (IED Scout, Wireshark). • Mentor junior engineers and provide regular project progress reports, dashboards, and risk assessments. • Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, safety norms, and support audits and certifications.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager / Deputy General Manager – EMCS Projects to lead and deliver end‑to‑end Electrical Monitoring & Control System (EMCS), Substation Automation (SAS), E‑SCADA, and CRP projects. The role involves managing multiple small, medium, and large‑scale power and substation automation projects, ensuring on‑time delivery, stakeholder coordination, high customer satisfaction, and adherence to budget and quality standards. Strong knowledge of PLC/RTU/HMI/SCADA platforms and protocols (IEC 61850, IEC 101/103/104, Modbus TCP/IP, DNP3, OPC, MQTT) is required, along with familiarity with network architecture, cybersecurity (IEC 62443/62351), IED parameterization, and diagnostic tools; experience with Zenon, Schneider Electric M580, T500/Saitel, and EcoStruxure SCADA is a plus.
