About the Role

The firm is hiring a Senior Project Controls Engineer for its expanding Infrastructure business, focusing on high‑value rail and aviation projects. The role is suited to candidates with a rail or airport background who have successfully delivered major international projects. The position may involve working within a large project controls team or acting as the primary daily contact point with the client. The Senior Project Controls Engineer will join the project controls team on a high‑profile rail and aviation programme, delivering performance reporting and analysis. Responsibilities include creating work breakdown structures, establishing baselines, monitoring progress and cost, and producing control reports that inform client decisions. • Develop work breakdown structures and performance baselines with cost and planning engineers. • Establish progress and cost monitoring methods; produce project control reports. • Perform earned‑value analysis, progress updating, cost and change control, baseline management and reporting in Primavera P6. • Utilise Microsoft Excel, Primavera, Oracle/SAP and web‑based project control tools for data analysis and reporting. • Provide performance analysis and recommendations to clients on rail and aviation projects. • Ensure compliance with SOX controls where applicable.
