About the Role
A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The driver ensures the vehicle complies with the Company’s safety standards, follows all state and federal regulations, and completes daily Vehicle Condition Reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections of tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, and reporting any safety issues. Drivers follow the assigned route sheet, operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, and compact refuse, and transport the material to the designated disposal site. They interact courteously with customers and dispatchers, tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for prohibited items, and clean any accidental spills in accordance with safety policies. Additional tasks involve cleaning waste from the packer blade and truck body on each trip, completing route productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports, and adhering to productivity and safety standards, including participation in the Company’s ReSOP program.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brakes endorsement. The role also requires strong customer service skills, effective time management, reliable follow‑through, and a commitment to the Company’s safety policies and standards.
