About the Role
The primary purpose of the position is to plan and prepare work packages for the Clean Energy Center (CEC) maintenance departments, ensuring work is performed safely, reliably, and efficiently while complying with the QA manual, company policies, procedures, and all applicable codes and standards. The role involves creating detailed work instructions for corrective and preventive maintenance, selecting and recommending materials, conducting field walkdowns to identify maintenance needs, collaborating with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering, defining required procedures and permits, verifying compliance with nuclear and mechanical codes, developing and reviewing maintenance procedures, managing project elements, participating in scheduling and review meetings, and supporting emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities. • Plan and prepare detailed work packages for corrective, preventive, and surveillance maintenance. • Conduct field walkdowns to assess and refine maintenance activities. • Coordinate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to resolve package issues. • Prepare and submit permits, barriers, ALARA tasks, and regulatory documentation for work execution. • Verify work instructions meet CEC procedures, nuclear safeguards, ASME code, and 10CFR50.59 requirements. • Develop, revise, and review maintenance procedures to ensure compliance and technical rigor. • Provide project management oversight for system planners and contractors during package development. • Participate in work‑control meetings, contract reviews, troubleshooting, risk assessments, and peer reviews.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience, or a current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with two years of related experience, or an associate’s degree with three years of related experience, or a high school diploma/GED with four years of related experience, plus the required access and medical clearances. Preferred qualifications are five years of experience in nuclear power plant operations.
