About the Role
The position blends fieldwork and office‑based engineering assignments, allowing management of the full spectrum of marine and waterfront design projects. Engineers will collaborate with senior staff, develop designs, reports, and employ engineering techniques to ensure project success. • Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques and principles with senior staff guidance to develop designs, reports, and project deliverables. • Assist senior engineers in developing civil and marine design plans. • Perform engineering calculations, write technical reports, and present findings to project engineers and managers. • Research code provisions and specifications. • Interpret typical engineering drawings and details. • Assist senior engineers with project cost estimates. • Develop fluency in AutoCAD and structural design software such as STAAD and Enercalc. • Establish and maintain positive relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients. • Perform self QA/QC for design methodology, plans, calculations, and outcomes, and respond efficiently to supervisor QA/QC.

The structural team is expanding, and we need an innovative engineer enthusiastic about learning and growing with the company. • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (structural focus preferred). • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required; PE license preferred or record of passing PE exam. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with colleagues and clients. • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job‑related communications and instructions.
