About the Role

• Conduct comprehensive geotechnical investigations and prepare Geotechnical Investigation Reports. • Design foundations and ground‑improvement solutions for airport infrastructure such as runways, taxiways, aprons, and terminals. • Create and review investigation scopes, specifications, Bills of Quantities, and factual/geotechnical reports. • Ensure all input data are accurate and suitable for multidisciplinary design teams. • Evaluate settlement, slope stability, liquefaction, and other ground‑risk conditions. • Recommend mitigation measures customized to operational airport environments. • Collaborate with design teams, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. • Provide construction‑stage guidance, including test‑pile reviews, site condition interpretation, and method‑statement validation. • Verify that designs comply with ICAO, DGCA, BCAS, and AAI regulations.

What You Bring

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Expert with at least 16 years of professional experience and a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering for a 12‑month assignment. The role will lead geotechnical investigations, develop foundation and ground‑improvement designs for airport facilities, and provide technical guidance while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The candidate must ensure compliance with international and national standards such as ICAO, DGCA, BCAS, and AAI, and deliver innovative solutions tailored to operational airport conditions. • Hold a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering. • Possess at least 16 years of geotechnical engineering experience, particularly on airport projects. • Demonstrate proficiency in investigation techniques, report preparation, and foundation/ground‑improvement design. • Experienced in settlement analysis, slope stability, and liquefaction assessment. • Exhibit strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and coordination skills and the ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects.
