About the Role
The Shift Engineer role in Bangalore’s Property and Asset Management business ensures all technical services remain operational during shift duties. Reporting to the Property Manager and Technical Manager, you will lead the engineering team, coordinate technical issues with clients and occupants, and serve as the team’s point of contact for site‑wide engineering matters. • Oversee electromechanical and utility services across the site with the technician team. • Develop and execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules. • Conduct regular site inspections to identify risks and defects. • Supervise and guide subordinate staff, including hiring and training shift engineers. • Manage budgeting, monitor SLA/KPI performance, and ensure service excellence. • Track defect liability periods, AMC/CAMC contracts, and maintain asset documentation. • Coordinate vendor quotations, invoices, and ensure timely cost sheet submissions. • Lead monthly vendor meetings, enforce corrective actions, and monitor payments. • Implement energy conservation initiatives and maintain equipment logbooks. • Respond to major complaints, coordinate emergency response, and partake in evacuation drills. • Ensure work permits, safety procedures, and risk assessments are in place. • Prepare and maintain engineering reports (DMR, MMR) and support root cause analysis.

The position is on‑site in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with a 48‑hour weekly schedule.
