About the Role

• Perform stakeout, boundary, and topographic survey calculations • Interpret notes, sketches, and data records • Operate GPS, robotic total stations, and conventional survey methods • Coordinate with field and office staff and provide office support • Verify accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness of data and calculations • Identify inconsistencies and notify management promptly • Travel to job sites as needed while following safety standards and wearing required protective equipment • Maintain a positive work atmosphere • Conduct document research at local public offices and stay familiar with recording standards • Attend meetings and serve on committees when assigned • Listen to clients • Build lasting relationships

What You Bring

The role includes coordinating mapping projects, creating legal descriptions, survey plats, job estimates, and field calculations, and requires an excellent understanding of all surveying technology. The technician must identify inconsistencies and promptly alert management.
