About the Role
• Follow procedures for receiving and processing equipment orders and returns. • Source equipment from internal inventory and third‑party rental/service suppliers. • Generate purchase orders for equipment purchases and rentals. • Reconcile and process billing of contracts, invoices, and work orders daily. • Support electronic and physical inventory management on sites and facilities. • Update task codes and off‑rent dates with input from project teams. • Produce scheduled and on‑demand inventory management reports and ensure quality control. • Reconcile fleet invoicing with accounting, vendors, and project teams. • Provide equipment solutions, issue resolution, and maintenance recommendations to project teams. • Build relationships with diverse stakeholders across organizational levels.

What You Bring
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, and the posting typically remains open for a minimum of five days. • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. • At least 1 year of rental equipment, construction, or related professional experience. • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Strong attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication, and customer service skills. • Ability to multitask, plan, organize, and listen actively. • Experience with billing software is a plus.

Benefits
The position offers a base salary ranging from $59,300 to $80,000, with higher ranges for certain locations such as Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C. Compensation is positioned based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity, and the role is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
