About the Role
The Construction Account Manager is responsible for identifying leads and proactively prospecting and selling temporary waste removal services to customers in the construction sector within an assigned market. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, increasing revenue, and meeting monthly profitable growth targets that support the company’s overall objectives. The manager regularly meets with prospective and existing clients to deliver sales presentations, follow up with key decision makers, and sell the full suite of services. Key duties include maintaining and growing existing accounts, generating and qualifying new leads, and securing all lines of temporary business to exceed individual and team growth goals. The manager prepares and delivers sales presentations, records all activities in Salesforce, and provides qualified leads for permanent sales opportunities to appropriate representatives. Regular collaboration with the Sales Manager and operations team ensures customer issues are addressed, while participation in trade shows and community events enhances company visibility. • Identify and prospect construction‑industry leads for temporary waste removal services. • Build and retain long‑term client relationships to drive profitable growth. • Deliver tailored sales presentations and follow up with key decision makers. • Document all sales activities, calls, meetings, and proposals in Salesforce daily. • Generate qualified leads for permanent sales opportunities and share with market representatives. • Collaborate with the operations team to resolve customer service issues. • Participate in trade shows, chamber of commerce events, and company‑sponsored activities to increase brand visibility. • Meet or exceed individual and team monthly revenue targets.
