About the Role
What You'll Be Doing: Oversee the engineering team, lead and review ongoing project work, and manage daily deliverables. Develop and check engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and conduct engineering reviews. Support the Design Manager with task assignments and assist Proposal Managers. Create highway schemes, verify key geometric elements, and coordinate deliverables with CAD and BIM teams. Manage resources and produce project reports. • Lead and review the highway engineering team’s project work. • Develop and validate engineering drawings, reports, and specifications. • Assign design tasks and support design and proposal managers. • Oversee daily project deliverables and conduct engineering reviews. • Create highway schemes and verify key geometric elements. • Coordinate deliverables with CAD and BIM teams and manage resources. • Produce comprehensive project reports.

What You Bring
What Required Skills You'll Bring: Hold a degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering from a reputable university. Possess at least 13 years of experience on major highway design projects. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of local (UAE) and international standards, and strong presentation abilities. Exhibit excellent English communication and report writing skills. Be proficient with design software such as Civil 3D and Bentley Inroads/OpenRoads. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Knowledge of road safety and BIM is valuable. Prior experience leading a team of design engineers is preferred. Familiarity with material specifications for highways and civil works is advantageous. • Hold a Civil or Transportation Engineering degree. • Minimum 13 years of experience on major highway design projects. • Strong knowledge of UAE and international standards. • Proficient in Civil 3D and Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads. • Excellent English communication, presentation, and report writing skills. • Knowledge of road safety and BIM. • Experience leading design engineer teams. • Familiarity with material specifications for highways and civil works.
