About the Role

Partnering closely with the CEO and senior leaders, the CMO builds the structure, systems, and talent needed to support CED’s continued expansion, overseeing public relations, communications, brand and design, digital strategy, marketing technology, market strategists, and regional teams. The CMO ensures integrated marketing and business‑development efforts that elevate visibility, engagement, and growth across divisions. • Develop and execute a firmwide marketing strategy aligned with CED’s mission and vision. • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team, integrating marketing insights into business planning. • Design scalable systems, processes, and playbooks to ensure consistency and efficiency across divisions. • Align marketing priorities and investments with high‑value opportunities to achieve measurable ROI. • Build and lead a high‑performing marketing organization with clear roles, accountability, and capabilities. • Mentor talent and create succession pipelines to develop leadership depth. • Evolve the CED brand to ensure consistency, relevance, and differentiation across markets. • Craft a compelling brand narrative that highlights technical excellence, innovation, and community impact. • Champion marketing technology, automation, and analytics to enable data‑driven decision making. • Define and track key performance indicators, using insights to optimize strategies and resources. • Drive budget discipline and ROI accountability for marketing investments. • Foster cross‑functional collaboration with business development, operations, and executive leaders.

What You Bring

Candidates must be based in Holmdel, New Jersey and be prepared to travel to the headquarters as needed. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business (MBA preferred) and at least fifteen years of senior marketing leadership experience in complex, multi‑division organizations. • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business; MBA preferred. • 15+ years of senior marketing leadership experience in complex, multi‑division or transformation environments. • Proven success developing integrated marketing strategies that generate measurable business growth. • Deep expertise in brand strategy, client engagement, and data‑driven marketing, preferably in professional services. • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, performance metrics, and ROI analysis. • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change‑management skills. • Ability to balance strategic vision with disciplined execution across functions and markets.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $200,000 to $280,000 annually, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes company‑paid medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid parental and military leave, disability and life insurance, and generous paid time off.
