About the Role

The Construction Superintendent serves as a vital on‑site leader, overseeing labor, contractors, materials, and equipment to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong communication with stakeholders, effective coordination with cross‑functional teams, and rigorous adherence to building codes and safety regulations. • Maintain regular stakeholder communication, providing updates and addressing concerns • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse construction team while coordinating with contractors, vendors, and suppliers • Supervise on‑site activities including mobilization, site access, staging, security, construction, closeout, and material deliveries • Keep the construction site organized, clean, and safe while optimizing workflow • Collaborate with the Project Manager to update schedules, 3‑week look‑ahead, and prioritize milestones • Coordinate and monitor contractor performance to meet project requirements and deadlines • Conduct quality inspections, verify work against specifications, and resolve deficiencies • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements • Manage procurement, delivery, and tracking of construction materials and equipment • Review and expedite project documentation such as reports, RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and closeout paperwork • Prepare status reports and presentations for managers and stakeholders • Implement continuous‑improvement practices and lessons learned across projects

What You Bring

• Possess in‑depth knowledge of construction processes, blueprint reading, and relevant codes and permits • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, organizational, decision‑making, and time‑management skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and project‑management software • Preferred experience: 5+ years as a Superintendent on K‑12, higher‑education, or publicly funded projects • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
