About the Role
The Marketing Specialist drives the firm’s marketing initiatives, supports business development, and partners with leadership to secure new projects. You will mentor team members, ensure brand consistency, and contribute to continuous improvement of proposal processes. • Lead development and execution of proposals, qualifications, SF330s, and presentations for standard and high‑priority pursuits. • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate and persuasive proposal content. • Create and continuously improve marketing collateral such as resumes, project sheets, case studies, pursuit graphics, and award submissions. • Write and edit project narratives, staff bios/resumes, and cover letters tailored to client requirements. • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials. • Serve as a strategic resource to project teams, providing marketing expertise and guidance. • Drive process improvements to enhance proposal quality, efficiency, and win rates. • Conduct market intelligence research and competitive analysis to inform go/no‑go decisions and win strategies. • Manage and update opportunity tracking in CRM/Unanet and maintain marketing databases. • Portfolio showcasing successful proposals or marketing campaigns.

Candidates should have a degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, and at least four years of progressive marketing experience in the A/E/C or professional services industry. Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and exceptional writing, project‑management, and strategic‑thinking skills are essential. • Hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Possess 4+ years of progressive marketing experience in the A/E/C or professional services industry. • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills for translating complex technical concepts into client‑focused narratives. • Experience with CRM/database platforms such as Unanet. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Professional involvement in industry organizations (e.g., SMPS, AIA, ACEC, AGC, ULI); CPSM designation a plus.
