About the Role

The Carpenter Helper assists skilled carpenters by performing supportive duties under immediate supervision. The role requires a general knowledge of carpentry and the use of hand and power tools to aid in designing, constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures, and other items made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. • Assist Carpenter in laying out work • Assist Carpenter with lifting, positioning, securing, and cutting of materials during installation • Clean work areas, machines, and equipment • Ensure work area remains stocked with materials needed • Assist other craft workers as needed

What You Bring

Physical demands include the ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb), repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs, hand‑eye coordination, and the capacity to perform sedentary to heavy work.
