About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the engineering function with accountability and serve as backup to the Site Engineering Director. This role provides engineering leadership to support site operations and strategic objectives. • Manage the engineering function to meet station needs and regulatory requirements. • Oversee performance and development of engineering staff, aligning them with site and corporate objectives. • Participate in business planning, budgeting, and performance reviews for Site Engineering, handling employment and compensation matters. • Ensure consistent workforce practices across supervisory functions. • Lead short‑term and long‑term engineering programs that impact site operations. • Act as senior resource for nuclear‑wide programs to standardize and improve engineering systems and processes. • Perform additional duties such as emergency response, department coverage, and outage support as required. • Meet access and medical examination requirements for the position.

What You Bring
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or a senior reactor operator (SRO) license. • Possess 10 years of experience, including 4 years in power plants, 1 year in nuclear power, and 1 year in supervisory or managerial roles. • Maintain an active or inactive SRO license or equivalent plant operational knowledge. • Comply with ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 (4.3.8) standards for nuclear personnel qualification and training. • Professional Engineering (PE) registration preferred. • Advanced technical degree or MBA preferred.
