About the Role

The Engineering Operations team seeks an Engineering Specialist who will, under minimal supervision, solve technical problems using standard engineering practices, prepare plans, designs, specifications, and cost estimates, manage data, conduct research, and support emergency response. • Prepare engineering plans, designs, specifications, and standards. • Develop engineering studies to support program objectives and investment decisions. • Conduct and document research for system compliance requirements. • Generate cost estimates and evaluate projects. • Coordinate with internal and external customers to define project requirements. • Create and update work orders, project documentation, calculations, and reports. • Perform field research, measurement, verification, and maintain equipment records. • Manage data and records for engineering projects. • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and O&M requirements. • Coordinate work of contractors, consultants, and other team members. • Identify and improve department standards, processes, templates, tools, and databases. • Communicate technical information effectively to team members and customers. • Review and provide guidance on simple project work of others. • Support emergency response and restoration efforts as needed.

What You Bring
