About the Role
The manager develops and oversees the strategic design and delivery of energy programs, participating in planning activities such as goal setting, budgeting, market research, evaluation, and business‑case development. They identify continuous‑improvement opportunities, support program marketing and outreach, and ensure safety compliance and ethical conduct. The role upholds PSE’s safety compliance standards, promotes a culture of total safety, and conducts business honestly and ethically in line with core values and the Code of Conduct, adhering to all regulatory obligations. • Manage sizable customer‑facing programs with complex scope and substantial budget • Develop and manage program activities, including goal setting, budgeting, and direction • Monitor program progress to achieve annual targets within budget and forecast accurately • Create cost‑effective product specifications such as energy‑savings measures • Drive strategic program planning, implementation, and business‑case development • Conduct market research, analyze data, and incorporate best practices into design • Develop strategic concepts and pursue innovation consistently • Manage third‑party vendor relationships, contracts, budgets, and performance metrics • Foster positive relationships with trade professionals and internal/external stakeholders • Evaluate customer issues, propose solutions, and maintain excellent service • Implement marketing and outreach strategies with internal and external partners • Collaborate with senior management to ensure departmental consistency • Execute high‑profile assignments with diligence • Provide input on program team performance to supervisors • Train and develop team members to support program objectives as needed

What You Bring
• 5 years of experience in program coordination or management • Experience managing projects or portfolios, including scope, budget, forecasting, schedule, and risks • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to collaborate across resources and identify integration opportunities • Proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems • Experience coordinating and managing relationships with external vendors • Experience creating and implementing quality‑control processes • Experience with trade organizations and/or community outreach • Strong customer‑service skills • Knowledge of accounting, finance, or mathematics principles • Exceptional attention to detail • Experience working in the utility industry • Knowledge of demand‑side management, distributed energy resources, and regulatory considerations • Experience with HVAC, weatherization, or electrical contractors in SMB applications • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team • Experience with contract management and negotiation • Technical experience or certifications such as BPI, CEM, LEED, or PMP • Experience supporting hard‑to‑reach, vulnerable, and low‑income customers
