About the Role
As a Supervising Mechanical Engineer‑Project Management, you will represent the firm with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members, delivering trade‑specific system designs using CAD/BIM and performing calculations. You will coordinate with other trades, oversee QA/QC, and contribute to project scheduling, staffing, and budgeting. • Represent the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members. • Produce trade‑specific system designs, including layouts (CAD/BIM) and calculations. • Coordinate designs with architectural and engineering trades in collaboration with senior staff. • Establish system application, design, and operational parameters with senior technical staff. • Oversee QA/QC processes for own work and that of others. • Assist in project scheduling, staffing, and budgeting. • Perform construction administration, field investigations, and detailed inspection reports. • Process RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda. • Manage CAD/BIM and technical staff assigned to projects as directed. • Contribute to employee reviews and write engineering proposals under senior guidance. • Participate in trade organizations, prepare presentations, and estimate construction costs using ROM.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a PE license, and at least 12 years of consulting experience. Proficiency with Revit, the latest AutoCAD MEP, and trade‑specific design software is essential, with knowledge of SKM short‑circuit and arc‑flash analysis preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university. • Minimum 12+ years consulting experience. • Proficiency in Revit and the latest AutoCAD MEP. • Ability to create red‑line markups for CAD personnel. • Strong knowledge of reading and visualizing floor plans, sections, and elevations. • Expertise in trade‑specific design and calculation software; proper system selection. • Understanding of other trades’ work and applicable codes. • Preferred knowledge of SKM software for short‑circuit coordination and arc‑flash studies. • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
