About the Role

The position emphasizes safety above all, requiring technicians to work safely under all circumstances, seek guidance for unfamiliar tasks, and follow lock‑out/tag‑out procedures. Under supervision, technicians will operate and care for company equipment, service solar equipment at multiple plants, perform basic testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and part replacement, and respond on‑call for emergency repairs. Accurate documentation and reporting of work performed are also required. • Follow and enforce safe work practices, including lock‑out/tag‑out procedures • Service and maintain solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision • Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and repair of solar components • Respond on‑call to emergency equipment repairs as directed • Document work performed and submit accurate reports • Identify and suggest process improvements and new technologies • Uphold diversity and inclusion in daily operations

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (vocational training a plus), mechanical/electrical experience, basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and solar systems, ability to perform lock‑out/tag‑out, basic testing equipment knowledge, computer skills, and NFPA 70e safety certification. Candidates must be able to work in remote locations under extreme weather, be on‑call as needed, hold a valid driver’s license, and meet physical demands such as lifting 50 lb and occasional climbing. • Meet physical requirements: lift 50 lb, climb, work in extreme weather • Maintain a valid driver’s license and operate company vehicle • Complete required safety and technical training, including NFPA 70e certification • Provide excellent attendance, punctuality, and customer satisfaction
