About the Role

The Safety Valve Product Design and Engineering Lead role joins a cross‑functional design and engineering team focused on delivering quality mechanical components that meet both business and technical customer needs. This position drives the robust process from concept through production and operation for consolidated safety valves. Key responsibilities include developing global sustenance engineering processes, leading engineering change management in line with API, ASME, NACE and ISO standards, and creating and reviewing 3D CAD models, drawings, and specifications. The role also performs stress analysis, flow calculations, material selection, and conducts design reviews, risk assessments, and verification activities to ensure reliability and manufacturability. The lead engineer drives innovation in valve design, collaborates with suppliers to guarantee component quality, and establishes controlled product revision and approval board processes. They manage project backlogs, allocate resources effectively, and coordinate with site engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and finance teams. Providing technical mentorship, the leader ensures system performance visibility, proper documentation, and lifecycle change management while resolving problems through expertise. What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least eight years of safety‑valve design, engineering, and manufacturing experience, including familiarity with API 520/521/526, ASME Section VIII/I, NACE MR0175, ISO 4126, and BPVC codes. Strong knowledge of ERP/PLM tools such as SAP and Teamcenter, deep understanding of pressure relief systems, and proven leadership and project‑management skills are required. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 years of safety‑valve design/engineering experience. • Demonstrated expertise with API 520/521/526, ASME Section VIII/I, NACE MR0175, ISO 4126, and BPVC codes. • Experience in boiler and pressure vessel applications and safety relief valve specifications. • Proficient in ERP/PLM systems such as SAP and Teamcenter and product lifecycle management. • Deep understanding of pressure relief systems, fluid dynamics, and materials for corrosive/high‑pressure environments. • Strong leadership, communication, and project‑management capabilities.
