Job Highlights
About the Role
• Lead development of client climate change, sustainability and social value strategies and ensure their delivery. • Act as technical expert and promote innovation in areas such as waste, energy/carbon, water, responsible sourcing or sustainable buildings. • Provide proactive generalist coverage of all major sustainability issues with relevant stakeholders. • Support work winning through bid support, innovation, client liaison and raising Mace’s external profile. • Drive Mace’s leadership in climate change and sustainability. • Guide design teams to address environmental constraints and maximise positive environmental benefits. • Translate technical topics into layperson language and articulate the value of sustainability. • Represent Mace at forums, client presentations and working groups. • Champion sustainability and encourage behavioural change across the business. • Develop and communicate innovation and best practice to the wider business and clients. • Adapt best EMS practices across areas and simplify reporting processes. • Provide bid support with strong business acumen. • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, design teams, contractors, sub‑contractors and regulators.
