About the Role

As a Service Engineer you will service advanced security systems—including intruder alarms, access control and CCTV—within a designated geographic region. You will provide top‑notch customer service, anticipate issues and resolve them before they escalate, and work within industry standards using strong technical knowledge. The role requires delivering outstanding customer service, building strong relationships with internal and external clients, and maintaining a safe working environment to prevent injuries, property damage and waste. You will manage your time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and accurately complete engineer work reports, handover certificates and checklists. • Service advanced security systems (intruder alarms, access control, CCTV) in an assigned region. • Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships. • Maintain safe working practices, including lifting and ladder work, following health‑and‑safety standards. • Manage time, prioritize tasks, and complete work reports and certificates accurately. • Participate in rewards and recognition programmes within a team averaging 20+ years of service.

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with experience in the fire and security industry, a manual driving licence, and the physical ability to lift and climb ladders. Prior experience in a customer‑facing role is essential, and preferred qualifications include current 18th edition, NVQ, City & Guilds or BTEC certifications. • Possess fire and security industry experience and a manual driving licence. • Demonstrate ability to work at height and handle physical demands of the role. • Hold prior customer‑facing experience; preferred certifications include 18th edition, NVQ, City & Guilds or BTEC.
