About the Role
In this role you will perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools, troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems, and respond to basic warranty calls. You will load system‑level controller software, conduct commissioning and diagnostics from controllers to end devices such as sensors and actuators, keep management and the JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress, calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment, and complete required documentation and administrative tasks including timesheets and expense reports. • Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools and load controller software. • Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control issues, and respond to warranty calls. • Conduct system diagnostics from controllers to end devices and complete required documentation. • Communicate job progress to management, contractors, or customers while maintaining safety standards. • Calibrate systems with electronic test equipment and handle administrative tasks such as timesheets and expense reports. • Provide recommendations, solutions, and quotes to improve facility efficiency and identify upselling opportunities.

What You Bring
We are looking for candidates with a 2‑year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air‑conditioning or a related field, or 1‑2 years of industry experience, knowledge of HVAC control and facilities management systems, strong interpersonal skills, and PC proficiency for programming HVAC software. The hourly rate ranges from $20‑$25 and includes a competitive benefits package.
