About the Role

• Assist with site preparation for voice switches at Enroute Centers and Terminal TRACONs. • Install and integrate Fiber Optics Terminal System (FOTS) equipment at multiple U.S. locations. • Perform electronics installations, integration, and testing for AFSS radios, VHF/UHF Radio Control Equipment, power panels, conduit, cableways, and racks. • Remove, replace, and repair components, wire bundles, terminal blocks, and connectors; solder and splice coaxial, shielded, solid, and stranded wires. • Test, troubleshoot, align, and calibrate audio and voice communication systems using schematics and test equipment. • Install sensors, cabling, computers, radios, and satellite equipment in fast‑paced, all‑weather environments. • Perform repetitive movements, lift up to 50 lb, and climb towers up to 50 ft. • Apply electronics principles to diagnose malfunctions, evaluate performance, and recommend design improvements.

What You Bring

Parsons is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to replace components, wire circuits, repair simple electronic equipment, and take test readings using instruments such as digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. • Maintain a high school diploma and 5+ years of experience testing, repairing, and installing fiber optics, radio control systems, and complex electronic equipment. • Use basic Microsoft Office, internet, and email; meet customer security requirements and pass a federal background check. • Travel up to 100 % within the United States as required. • Possess advanced electronics training (junior college, military, or trade school) and ability to modify, troubleshoot, and install diverse electronic devices such as radar, telecommunications, and industrial robotics.
