About the Role
The Business Analyst role focuses on leveraging Power BI to turn complex business data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports. The analyst will combine analytical thinking with technical expertise to support decision‑making across the organization. Key duties include collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications, designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, and performing ETL processes from sources such as SQL, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud platforms. The analyst will also provide training, support, and ongoing troubleshooting for dashboard users while presenting findings to senior management. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements. • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. • Create data models, relationships, and optimized DAX calculations. • Extract, transform, and load data from SQL, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud sources. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and real‑time reporting via gateways. • Provide user training, support, and troubleshooting for dashboard solutions. • Present insights and recommendations to senior management and cross‑functional teams.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3‑5 years of experience in business analysis or data analytics, with strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, M, and SQL. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and presentation skills are required, and experience with other BI tools, Azure services, or programming languages is a plus. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field. • Possess 3‑5 years of experience in business analysis or data analytics. • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, M query language, and SQL. • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication with non‑technical audiences. • Showcase strong presentation and executive‑level reporting abilities. • Preferred: Microsoft Power BI certifications, experience with Tableau or QlikView. • Preferred: Knowledge of Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, Python or R. • Preferred: Experience in commercial real estate or related industry.
