About the Role

The role involves analyzing and preparing roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans, developing 3D corridor models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing task assignments, preparing reports and contract documents, reviewing external plans for compliance, and potentially serving as Engineer‑of‑Record for mid‑size designs. The engineer will also present design solutions internally and externally, support marketing activities, maintain accurate timesheets and expense reports, and actively contribute to the professional development of themselves and their team through mentorship and feedback. • Analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans, calculations, and drawings for expressway and arterial roads per DOT or local criteria. • Develop 3D corridor models using GEOPAK or Open Roads. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and propose innovative design solutions. • Assign, track, and review tasks of technicians, designers, and engineers; ensure schedule adherence and quality control of final deliverables. • Prepare engineering reports and contract documents; conduct independent peer reviews. • Review contract plans and calculations from other teams and external entities for code compliance. • Serve as Engineer‑of‑Record for mid‑size and miscellaneous transportation designs. • Present design solutions in internal meetings and external presentations. • Support marketing efforts by updating resumes, providing technical proposal assistance, and participating in campaigns. • Complete timesheets, expense reports, and labor‑hour management promptly. • Mentor team members, provide feedback, and foster career development.

The company is seeking an experienced Roadway Engineer II who will be trained and mentored under supervision, applying engineering theories and practices while gaining exposure to company standards and challenging projects.
