Assist project manager in implementing and managing HSE systems on construction projects.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Support and implement the Project HSE Management System, including action monitoring and incident reporting, meeting internal and client requirements. • Advise the Project Director/Manager on processes and procedures to achieve HSE objectives. • Communicate and ensure compliance with legislative changes. • Perform assurance and self‑verification against contract scope requirements. • Develop and deliver effective HSE training to project personnel. • Support or lead HSE meetings, audits and reviews. • Obtain specialist advice when required. • Develop, implement and maintain a formal risk assessment process. • Generate and communicate Project HSE performance statistics. • Interface with the client team to deliver HSE services promptly when needed. • Review contractor HSE plans, procedures, method statements, risk assessments and related documentation for compliance. • Ensure all parties comply with company HSE standards, regulations and statutory requirements. • Identify HSE hazards, evaluate risks and ensure appropriate mitigation actions. • Adhere to the internal HSE Management System. • Report functionally to the Project Manager.

What You Bring
• Hold a relevant degree and professional qualifications. • Minimum five years of HSE practitioner experience in a similar sector. • Minimum NEBOSH IGC qualification. • IOSH membership or equivalent. • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications. • Strong communication skills. • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
