About the Role
• Operate cleaning machinery and perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping. • Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and trolley bays. • Follow all health and safety procedures. • Provide an NFC‑enabled smartphone for time‑tracking via the Arcus Connect app. • Work 20.5 hours per week at £12.21 per hour on a fixed‑term contract until Feb 2026.

What You Bring
Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe, completing daily tasks such as operating machinery, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping, cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and outdoor trolley bays. All health and safety procedures are applied and full training is provided. Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; an eye for detail, a positive attitude to cleaning and customer service, and a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect app are required. • Prior cleaning experience advantageous but not required.

Benefits
Sainsbury’s stores operate seven days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with five‑ or six‑day weeks, including early morning, morning, afternoon and evening shifts. The current schedule is Sunday 05:00‑09:30, Wednesday‑Saturday 05:00‑09:00, with Monday and Tuesday off, and overtime opportunities are available.
