About the Role
The Leasing Consultant role focuses on all aspects of leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a property. Responsibilities include showing units, processing applications, handling resident inquiries and complaints, and contributing to marketing and retention initiatives to meet and exceed leasing goals. • Maintain regular daily onsite attendance. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign leases. • Conduct all functions to close sales, including appointments, lead generation, tours, model unit maintenance, and follow‑up. • Complete leasing paperwork prior to move‑in. • Assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs, and the turnover process. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to leads within 24 hours. • Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, maintain closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals. • Perform various administrative tasks as needed. • Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction. • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Contribute to the upkeep and cleaning of the office, common areas, and model unit. • Assist in implementing the annual marketing plan and outreach activities. • Review and continuously complete market surveys/analysis to generate ideas and formulate plans. • Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; produce weekly market survey reports. • Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness. • Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the immediate supervisor.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least a high‑school diploma, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. Physical requirements involve frequent walking, climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lb, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, or night shifts in various weather conditions. Compensation ranges from $17 to $20 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) matching, commissions, bonuses, paid sick days and holidays. • Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent. • Ability to perform on‑site software functions; basic computer skills required. • Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. • Physical ability to move, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb, stand or sit for prolonged periods, and work in varied environments and temperatures.
