About the Role

The manager will ensure that all project quality plans, as defined in the Project Implementation Manual, contracts, and Quality Management Standards, are prepared, approved, and executed from design through construction. Responsibilities include auditing contracts, developing quality control processes, evaluating contractor procedures, conducting field visits, documenting deficiencies, and preparing status reports. • Oversee construction quality compliance per Project Implementation Manual, contracts, and Quality Management Plans. • Ensure preparation, approval, and implementation of project quality plans from design‑build through construction. • Audit ongoing contracts using predefined or custom quality metrics. • Develop new quality control processes in collaboration with project teams. • Evaluate contractor and subcontractor procedures for inspection, testing, certification, record‑keeping, and auditing. • Conduct regular on‑site quality compliance audits and field visits; report daily to 800 Broadway, Brooklyn. • Identify and resolve contractor/equipment deficiencies; issue non‑conformance reports with corrective actions. • Prepare and maintain project status reports documenting progress and task durations. • Attend and document factory and field testing activities.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and have at least seven years of QA/QC management experience in construction, preferably on MTA rail projects. Required knowledge includes ISO 9000, ICC Structural Steel and Bolting certification, and the ability to enforce safety and ethical standards in line with WSP policies. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. • Minimum 7 years of QA/QC management experience in construction. • Proven ability to oversee contractor quality management procedures. • Experience on MTA rail transit projects and knowledge of ISO 9000 standards. • ICC Structural Steel and Bolting certification. • Strong record of workplace safety and adherence to WSP health, safety, and conduct policies. • Ability to make responsible ethical decisions regarding company resources.
