About the Role
Operates a crawler or rubber‑tired machine mounted with an excavator bucket. It is used for excavating ditches, structures, and mass excavations, laying pipe and precast concrete structures, and loading trucks. The operator is responsible for performing safety and maintenance checks, operating the equipment, coordinating with truck drivers, avoiding hazards, and adhering to company safety policies. • Perform safety and maintenance checks on assigned equipment. • Start engines and operate controls (throttles, switches, levers, pedals). • Signal truck drivers for proper positioning during loading and unloading. • Identify and avoid hazards such as utility lines, equipment, and falling objects. • Report maintenance needs, including oiling, greasing, and adjustments. • Follow company safety policies and procedures as outlined in the safety manual.

What You Bring
