About the Role

The Assembler is responsible for production of all types of 3‑phase transformers in a continuous‑flow environment to meet agreed‑upon customer service requirements. The Assembler performs job functions at an acceptable level of efficiency and quality, and must be willing to assist team members as needed to sustain production flow. Key duties include reading and interpreting shop specifications, following standard work and visual operating procedures, building sub‑assemblies with calibrated tooling to meet OPS and quality standards, and coordinating with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure timely completion and shipment. The role also involves conducting ratio testing, troubleshooting issues, and moving units using overhead cranes and industrial vehicles. • Read and interpret shop specifications, drawings, and process sheets • Follow standard work and visual operating procedures • Build sub‑assemblies using calibrated tooling per OPS and quality standards • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure timely product completion • Perform ratio testing and troubleshoot unit issues • Operate overhead cranes and industrial vehicles to move units

What You Bring

Candidates need at least six months of experience or education in assembly, manufacturing, or the military, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching. Applicants must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Waukesha, WI, though active‑duty military members are exempt from this geographic restriction.
