About the Role
The engineer will interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors, implement pre‑construction quality plans, and manage construction permits. Responsibilities include maintaining material‑tracking and inspection logs, overseeing testing and a three‑phase inspection system, and handling contract documents such as RFIs and change orders. What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience, and possess a current driver’s license. Core competencies include detail‑orientation, multitasking, basic knowledge of construction law, strong teamwork, communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant web applications. Project Engineer 1 requires a minimum of two years of related experience, while Project Engineer 2 requires three years. Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Benefits
Base pay ranges from $84,100 to $113,500 for PE 1 and $93,400 to $126,100 for PE 2, with higher ranges for offices in Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, DC.
