About the Role
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. As a Day Porter at Velociti Services you will join the frontline associates providing commercial cleaning at client locations. The role focuses on standard custodial and janitorial tasks such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and waste removal. • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures • Perform work assignments collaboratively with team members • Maintain a clean work area • Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules • Take direction and respond to supervision • Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co‑workers, managers, and customers • Fill in during staff shortages • Support shift lead in completing punch‑list items • Use proper personal protective equipment • Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms • Clean windows • Build respectful relationships with teammates and guests • Follow directions from Cleaning Lead, Supervisor, or Manager • Coordinate activities with internal departments • Participate in team meetings • Prioritize safety and comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures • Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times daily
