About the Role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer to provide discipline leadership in condition monitoring and reliability engineering. The role serves as a regional lead for all analytics‑related activities, guiding the development, deployment, and coaching of appropriate systems and processes. In this position you will work closely with the Global Analytics Service Director and cross‑functional teams, acting as the primary technical expert for analytics‑driven condition monitoring. You will influence model improvements, support pilots and proofs of concept, and ensure compliance with best‑practice configurations. • Assist the Global Analytics Service Director with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and condition monitoring of rotating and stationary systems. • Act as technical expert and thought leader for analytics‑driven condition monitoring, staying current on standards and best practices. • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and CAH development teams to improve models and analytics solutions. • Lead pilots, proofs of concept, and training initiatives for RM&D engineers and the Analytics Deployment team. • Review S1 and Cordant Asset Health configurations to ensure compliance with condition monitoring best practices. • Provide technical support for Hypercare contracts and analytics deployment, including domain expertise. • Develop training materials and deliver on‑the‑job coaching, mentoring, and certification for Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics engineers. • Optimize System 1 & CAH, mentor the team, and contribute to the RM&D services growth strategy. • Collect and convey VOC feedback to Services leadership and new product development teams. • Liaise with Technology/Engineering teams to define, develop, and implement monitoring system testing and condition‑monitoring solutions.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a BSME, BSEE or Master’s degree in engineering and has at least five years of field engineering experience in machinery diagnostics, vibration, process or reliability. A strong track record in reliability engineering, familiarity with API and ISO standards, and experience across industries such as power generation or oil & gas are required. • Possess a minimum of 5 + years of field engineering experience in machinery diagnostics, vibration/process analysis, and reliability. • Hold a BSME, BSEE, or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field; valid driver’s license and passport required. • Demonstrate ability to travel up to 30 % internationally and work overtime as needed. • Proficient with MS Office and capable of reading schematics, assembly drawings, and procedures.
