About the Role
As a Switching Operator you will own end‑to‑end switching operations—preparing, reviewing, and executing switching schedules and performing field switching on live networks. You will work closely with a skilled team of switching writers and field operators to deliver safe, efficient and customer‑focused outcomes. • Preparing, reviewing and executing accurate switching schedules • Performing complex field switching in line with approved procedures • Working collaboratively as a key member of the switching team • Ensuring compliance with Ventia’s requirements (Vector and WEL network standards) and all relevant performance measures • Providing exceptional customer service while meeting HSQE expectations • Identifying improvements and contributing to enhanced switching processes
