About the Role
In this role you will collaborate directly with the manufacturing team to guarantee that customer orders are completed promptly and that the most urgent jobs receive priority. You will foster a safe, engaged, and inclusive workplace by proactively addressing concerns and escalating issues when needed. Professional communication will be used to keep stakeholders informed on order status and to resolve production challenges. You will review order documentation—including drawings, travel documents, and bills of material—to ensure the team has accurate information and to troubleshoot any discrepancies. As a technical subject‑matter expert you will participate in assessing, selecting, training, and developing employees, and you will promote workforce flexibility through cross‑training and task delegation. Your strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities will help eliminate production obstacles, drive continuous‑improvement projects, and maintain daily paperwork to meet production targets. • Ensure timely execution of customer orders and prioritize urgent jobs. • Promote a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by addressing concerns and escalating issues. • Review order documentation (drawings, travel documents, bills of material) to verify accuracy and troubleshoot problems. • Provide professional updates on order status and resolve production issues across departments. • Act as technical subject‑matter expert in employee assessment, selection, training, and development. • Cross‑train staff in critical positions and delegate tasks to align resources with production goals. • Apply analytical and problem‑solving skills to remove obstacles and delays in the production process. • Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and lead assigned projects to completion. • Manage daily paperwork to ensure production rates are met.

What You Bring
The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with an associate’s degree preferred, and at least two years of manufacturing or operations experience, including panelboard assembly. Applicants must have demonstrated leadership experience, strong verbal and written communication, organizational and planning skills, and a working knowledge of Lean concepts. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, reside within a 50‑mile radius of the Sumter facility, and be able to work independently while influencing others without formal authority. • High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree preferred. • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience, including panelboard assembly. • At least 1‑3 months of leadership experience managing people or project teams. • Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive, and analytical problem‑solving abilities. • Excellent organizational and planning skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. • Ability to direct and influence others without formal authority. • Working knowledge of Lean concepts and ability to work independently making decisions affecting the workgroup. • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the Sumter facility; no relocation assistance provided.
