About the Role
Engineers will design new water control structures, upgrade hydropower dams, rehabilitate navigation lock facilities, or work on levee closure structures, providing diverse and challenging experience. Collaboration with senior staff and interdisciplinary teams is emphasized to accelerate professional growth. • Perform engineering calculations and develop construction cost estimates. • Collaborate with senior staff to design water‑related structures such as locks, dams, gates, and mooring dolphins. • Conduct QA/QC by verifying design methodology, calculations, and outcomes. • Interpret multidisciplinary drawings and respond to requests for information. • Carry out field inspections and surveys to support design and construction efforts. • Research and apply relevant code provisions to designs. • Investigate design alternatives and document findings for project leadership. • Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques using sound judgment. • Assist senior staff in preparing proposals, client information, and design documentation. • Develop and modify construction drawings as needed.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required). • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification (preferred). • Internship or coursework experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation (preferred). • Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
