About the Role
The Quality Engineer will perform quality control on traffic controller data migration, configuration, testing, intersection and detection design, and related infrastructure installations. They will work closely with internal departments such as Sales, Project Management, Software Development, Product Management, Procurement, Legal, and Field Operations, as well as external partners, to ensure projects meet customer requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing designs, conducting value and quality assessments, providing improvement recommendations, and developing process work instructions. The engineer will also participate in inspections, testing, acceptance of deliverables, and provide technical problem analysis while identifying opportunities and risks. The incumbent will refine and implement the project‑specific Quality Management System in line with the company’s overall QM framework, supporting milestone planning and coordination with environmental, health, and safety functions. They will ensure the project procedure manual and quality plan are applied, improving requirements and risk management processes. Monitoring of quality targets, key performance indicators, and corrective actions will be conducted to verify compliance. The role also involves managing customer integration, handling contractual and regulatory requirements, and addressing complaints. The engineer will drive continuous improvement across all project phases by organizing lessons‑learned workshops and sharing best practices from previous projects. Supplier quality will be overseen, supporting purchasing activities such as selection, qualification, integration, supervision, and auditing to meet project specifications. Quality reporting will include data collection, incident analysis, and escalation of critical issues, while audits and assessments will be planned and executed to ensure corrective measures are applied. • Conduct quality control for traffic controller data migration, configuration, testing, and related infrastructure installations. • Coordinate with sales, project management, software development, product management, procurement, legal, and field operations to meet project requirements. • Assess designs for value and quality, recommending improvements to enhance cost efficiency. • Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions for scope delivery. • Participate in inspections, testing, and acceptance activities, providing technical problem analysis. • Support requirements, configuration, and change management while identifying risks and opportunities. • Refine and apply the project‑specific Quality Management System in alignment with corporate standards. • Ensure the project procedure manual and quality plan are consistently implemented and improved. • Track and report quality metrics, key performance indicators, and non‑conformances, escalating critical issues. • Oversee supplier quality activities, including selection, qualification, integration, supervision, and auditing. • Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives such as lessons‑learned workshops and quality gate reviews. • Conduct audits, assessments, and reviews to verify compliance and implement corrective actions. • Apply engineering fundamentals, MUTCD standards, and quality/process models in daily work. • Maintain a quality‑focused mindset and resolve conflicts effectively with stakeholders. • Work with cutting‑edge ITS technology that contributes to safer, more sustainable mobility.

What You Bring
Yunex Traffic is looking for a Quality Engineer with a background in traffic or engineering. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in traffic engineering and infrastructure projects, with a strong passion for quality in design and implementation. The role involves joining a team of engineers and technicians responsible for quality assurance and control of traffic engineering and design services, as well as overseeing compliance with project quality, environmental, health, and safety standards. Experience in the intelligent traffic industry is required. The role requires solid engineering foundations in mathematics, computing, and core principles, as well as familiarity with quality and process models and standards such as the MUTCD. Essential skills include requirements specification and validation, design synthesis and evaluation, configuration management tools, test planning, and data analysis. The engineer must demonstrate strong problem‑solving abilities, effective cross‑functional collaboration, and clear technical communication with diverse stakeholders. Key competencies include systems thinking, requirements analysis, design and architecture, safety and reliability engineering, configuration and lifecycle management, and stakeholder and supplier management. Candidates should have 3‑5 years of traffic industry experience, strong communication, strategic thinking, analytical problem‑solving, attention to detail, and a quality‑focused mindset capable of handling conflict and facilitating solutions. • Utilize requirements specification, design evaluation, configuration management tools, test planning, and data analysis skills. • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, cross‑functional collaboration, and clear technical communication. • Bring 3–5 years of experience in traffic engineering or intelligent transport systems. • Exhibit excellent communication, strategic thinking, analytical, and detail‑oriented abilities.
