About the Role
The Road Mechanic position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse range of equipment to minimize downtime. Technicians work on aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and, depending on the location, large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil‑and‑gas equipment. All work is performed in a safety‑focused environment, often in remote or challenging sites. • Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations • Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management • Provide own mechanic tools of trade

What You Bring
The role demands physical stamina, including bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, while working both indoors and outdoors as required. Mechanics must be adaptable, handling changing priorities in a fast‑paced setting and may need to supply their own tools of trade. • High school diploma or GED required; trade school training desired • 3‑5 years of mechanic experience with diesel, heavy construction, or specialty equipment • Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs

Compensation for the Road Mechanic role ranges from $22.85 to $31.41 per hour, with the exact rate depending on factors such as location, experience, and education.
