About the Role

In the Fabrication Technician, Machine Operator role, you will fabricate parts from steel, aluminum, and cast metals according to blueprint specifications. It’s where bold, bright professionals can reach their full potential while helping the company achieve its goals. • Contribute to a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by complying with policies, using PPE, operating equipment, and performing 5S duties. • Follow travel documents, blueprints, and instructions to set up, operate, and maintain machines such as shear, Finn Power, Prima, horizontal press brakes/benders, and Trump Laser. • Maintain expected job progress in the assigned area and communicate concerns appropriately. • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and conduct root cause analysis for quality or production issues. • Ensure quality by measuring finished parts with tape measure/calipers, performing visual inspections, identifying nonconforming parts, and troubleshooting errors. • Cross‑train and stand in for other employees or job functions when needed.

Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive, and analytical problem‑solving skills are required. The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, lift, carry, push, pull and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift or carry and push/pull up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation. Vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. The employee is regularly required to listen and to talk. Benefits

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Fabrication Technician – 2nd Shift. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:45 am. The rate for this position is $20.22 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Salary guidance is based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market considerations. We know that good benefit programs are important to employees and their families. Specific programs and options may depend on eligibility factors such as location, hire date, and collective bargaining agreements. • Residency within a 50‑mile radius of the El Paso facility; no relocation benefit provided.
