About the Role
Operators must work outdoors in varying weather, stand, walk, bend, and climb on equipment for extended periods while adhering to Rogers Group safety policies, attending daily safety meetings, and wearing required personal protective equipment. • Operate paving equipment such as pavers, rollers, and skid steers. • Assist with asphalt placement, compaction, and finishing. • Conduct pre‑operation equipment inspections and report concerns. • Maintain awareness of crew, traffic, and site hazards. • Collaborate with foremen to ensure proper mat quality and surface smoothness. • Perform handwork, shoveling, raking, and other labor duties as needed. • Keep the job site clean, organized, and OSHA‑compliant. • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and job site safety plans. • Participate in daily safety meetings and job hazard analyses. • Stop work and report unsafe conditions, near misses, or incidents immediately.

What You Bring
The company is seeking motivated, punctual, and safety‑focused Asphalt Paving Equipment Operators with prior paving experience to join the construction team in Cookeville, TN. This is a full‑time, day‑shift position with occasional night work required. • Hold a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred where applicable. • Demonstrate strong work ethic, teamwork, and flexibility for early mornings, overtime, and occasional weekends.
